Plugin of the week – jQuery ColorBox

Posted by: Mahbub In: Plugin of the week| Plugins

This week – March 20,09 jQueryMagic chooses jQuery colorbox as the pick of the week. You all have heard lot of lightbox, thickbox, greyboxes and different window overlays. It gets better in the newest plugin releases. This one really rocks. Fully customizable and easy to use. It’s lightweight and looks cool. Moreover a bunch of example is bundled with the library.

This plugin is great. I just discovered it on another site and am looking forward to testing it in an upcoming project.

Ha…! I thought a color selector but it came out to be a lightbox, facebox, thickbox kinda pluggin.

lets see how ..popular it becomes.

I was actually looking for a color selector or colorslider in jquery.

You can use http://www.eyecon.ro/colorpicker/ or one of my favorite http://acko.net/dev/farbtastic

But yes, the name colorbox is kind of confusing. It’ll upto the author who named it ;)
